Thank you to everyone who made it out last night! If you weren't able to make it, I will be sending a file home on Monday with all of the passcodes your child needs to complete online activities.
This week we have been studying what scientist is and does with an emphasis observation and science lingo. The kids learned about the water cycle last year. They bridged that knowledge to the three states of water today. We observed what happens when you place water balloons in the freezer. Once we removed the balloon, we conducted experiments on the remaining ice balls. We have focused on observation using hands, senses, and tools. We used wooden skewers, fingers, salt, and food coloring on the ice ball to observe changes and labeled information in our Science Journals. How Fun! Be sure to ask your child to tell you all about it this weekend. Please remember to send in Folders by Monday. Next week is Picture Day. We are slated for photos around 9:00am, before recess. Have a great weekend! Comments are closed.
